I didn't know about this incident until the first Effective Oral Communication's tutorial. When I read the article about this horrific hit-and-run accident, I felt more enraged towards those who ignored her than those who hit her and ran away. I also felt sorry to little yue yue's parents because I have a little brother who is five years old now and if he met an accident like this, I think I will be very heartbroken. Thus, we might never really feel how her parents might have felt when they realised that their daughter was hit by a van and a lorry.

When I saw this picture, I felt that she is really a very cute little girl. However, when I saw this following picture, I was shocked to see how the accident had turned her from a cute little girl who is still enjoying her childhood to a girl who is in a critical condition and under intensive care.
Little yue yue might actually survive if only the passers-by did not ignore her and had immediately came to her rescue the minute she was knocked down by the van. However, nobody came to her rescue until a garbage collector happened to pass by and noticed yue yue. The person who saved her was even being said to want fame and not really wanted to save her. I felt that it was really ridiculous to accuse her of that.
I am also worried that people will have negative impressions that all the people from China are cold-blooded and heartless beings. There might be discrimination towards them. Therefore, in all, I hope that negative impressions on all the people from China are bad and heartless beings will be reduced. I also wish that yue yue will rest in peace now.
